• Do you need a safety gate that fits an opening from 73 cm to 80 cm or up to 136 cm?
  The Safety 1st SecureTech Metal Gate is a child-safe stair gate: the double safety lock makes it difficult for toddlers aged 6 months to 2 years to open the gate (Safety 1st strongly recommends that you always keep an eye on your child, as children quickly become more independent. Children should never be left unattended). The Safety 1st SecureTech Metal Gate has an extra wide passage and opens with one hand. Simply press the buttons on the handle to open the gate and snap or press to close it. The SecurTech visual indicator confirms whether the gate is securely closed (green indicator means locked, red means unlocked).

  In addition to the ergonomic handle, the Safety 1st SecureTech Metal Gate is extra wide to pass through it comfortably. The gate can be opened in one or both directions, depending on where it is mounted.

  Installation requires no drilling, but includes a simple push-fit for a secure fit. If the space in which you are fitting the gate is larger than 80cm, you may wish to consider our Safety 1st gate extensions (sold separately), designed specifically for fitting into larger openings. Safety 1st offers a range of 7cm, 14cm and 28cm extensions for Safety 1st SecureTech Metal Gates up to 136cm in length. In addition, Safety 1st also offers an additional accessory called the Safety 1st Y-spindle, which can be mounted on stair railings (sold separately).

  WARNING: Please note that one side of the frame will be angled when removed from the box, but this is part of the design. It is a feature and advantage that creates pressure to hold the gate in place. This play closes when the child safety gate is correctly installed in the door frame.
